Collection: Beard Balm

Beard balm is the step beard oil doesn't cover: hold and shape. Where oil conditions the skin and hair, balm adds a light wax-based hold that tames flyaways, defines your edges, and keeps a beard looking intentional through the day — without the stiff, crunchy feel of old-school pomades. Every Palmetto State Grooming balm is hand-poured in small batches in South Carolina with shea butter, beeswax, and the same clean oil blend used across our beard oils. Work a pea-sized amount through a dry or towel-dried beard, shape as you go, and make it part of the routine.

What's the difference between beard balm and beard oil?

Oil conditions and softens; balm does that plus adds light hold for shaping. Most guys use both — oil first, balm to finish.

Will beard balm make my beard stiff or greasy?

No — it's a light hold, not a heavy pomade. It shapes without stiffness and absorbs without leaving shine.

How long does one tin last?

With daily use, most guys get 8–10 weeks per tin.
